MS Office Forum / Word / Programming / October 2006Insert Sequence #'s in margin
Word 2k (& Word '03) I have existing documents that I want to leave intact (as to formatting) but insert sequence numbers in the margin on certain paragraphs (I know how to select the pertinent paras).  SignatureRegards; Rob ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi RWN One way to do this set the paragraph to have Left Indent of (eg) 1cm, Hanging indent of 1cm, and put a tab stop at 0. Then, put the sequence number at the very beginning of the paragraph, followed by a tab. Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly.
