Fotos are too large for sending via email. How do I resize to say, 60kb?
I suppose there's a chance you have your photos in a Word Document, but the
question really has nothing to do with Word.
As for resizing to 60K - from what? If it's currently 65K it may not be too
difficult, if it's currently 65Mb then it may prove tricky.
1. If your photos are in BMP format, try saving them as JPEGs - there are
several different levels of compression available.
2. Generally files of all sorts can be compressed using a utility like
Winzip - you can download a trial if you don't have Winzip - or if you have
Windows XP I believe it has some built-in support - or there are other
utilities, some free, available on the web.
3. If you have multiple photos you could split them up and send one at a
time to make each e-mail smaller.

As a followup, if the photos are embedded in a Word document and you
don't have them as separate files, first use the technique at
http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm to make the
separate files. Then use a graphics editing program to save them as
JPEGs, reduce their resolution, and/or crop them to make smaller
files. My choice would be IrfanView (www.irfanview.com), which is
free.
