I' m trying to create a macro to insert odd and even Headers and Footers.
The problem is that I need to change font size three times within each header
and footer. I have the odd and even down pat, just not the font changing
within each header and footer.

Applying styles is usually the easiest. But why do this at all? Since your
code has to sit somewhere (such as in a template), why not just create a
template with the headers and footers already set up?

I have 248 Word documents that need to modified.  The template is in use for
all future documents.

Applying styles is the answer to the original question about setting sizes;
alternatively, set up the headers and footers in another document or in
autotext, and use copy and paste.
