Does anyone know how to use the replace function to replace the cell
pattern as well as the characters in the cell in mac excel? When I open
excel in windows there is an options button that allows you to change
the cell pattern (eg color) in the replace function. Can this be done
on the mac?

thanks in advance

Eric

I suggest you try asking in an Excel newsgroup, or maybe a Mac-specific one.
This one is for Word.
