Using VBA I would like to add pages from other documents to a template a
quote template.
Say I have 10 parts (documents) which I wish to add to another document,
docs 1 thru 10, each of these has parts of a quote, terms and equipment.
Not all parts will be added.
I can start the automation but what is the correct way to add the other
documents with out deleting them. The template will have a header and some
standard items - say 4 pages. If I want to add a document of 3 pages, say doc
3 between the 1st and 2nd pages of the template, how is this done in VBA. If
the added document had bookmarks or placeholders for text for a mail merge to
the new document , would these be added as well?
Say I wish to do this 3 more times to create a new document and add docs 7,
9, and 10 to the new document. Each of these would possibly have text holders.
I am wishing to create a quote of different items - the 10 documents to
create a new one. This start document is the quote template and will be
reused many times.
Thanx for your help
warm regards
Bill

So as to organise yr own thoughts on the below expressed list of wishes:
Kindly breakdown yr questions and make a logical business flow of what you
want to achieve.
Phasing ...

Take it one step at a time, try to automate that.
If you run into questions, post to this group indicating this particular
question and you'll wind up getting instant support or solutions.

Your below questions look more like project guidance (how to setup an
automation project) rather than a question requiting MS Word VBA support ...
No offense, btw
