Delete date & other Word provided data from Comments and screen ti

I like to use word screen tips to mimic web page HTML <span...
title="comment....whatever">. However I would like to know how to get rid of
the date that word insists on providing. (I can get rid of the author by
changing the author in the document settings to " ".) I would also like to
get rid of the word provided details from the screen tips that I get from my
links in word.
