I've created a Word template that on some computers make Word crash
when the document is closed. I can't recreate the problem on any
machine I've tried, but my client have problem with most computers. We
all use Word 2003 Pro with the same service packs.

At first I thought it had something to do with the Acrobat addin for
Word (feels nice to blame someone else :) ), but even when I installed
Acrobat at some computers I could not recreate the problems.

My client has no other addins except Acrobat 6.0.

Do you have any general ideas of what might cause this problem? Are
there any big dos and donts that might crash Word?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for you reply!

There is A LOT of code in the template, so i don't think it's possible
to send it all. That's kind of why I was wondering if there are any
generic tips out there.

I did however have code in the Document_Close event handler and
created a Application class module that listened to BeforeSave events.
I've temporarily removed these and sent to my client for feedback. I
haven't got any response yet.
