Finding out which page number you are on

Is there VBA code to extract what page number the code is currently at in
the document.

I need to do some coding that will put an extra page break (and thus blank
page) if the page is currently an even number.

Check out the .Information property of the Section object -
Selection.Information(wdActiveEndPageNumber)
