Some documents have a read only template attached. When I reset the template
to be the Normal, I am sometime prompted with an Save As screen for the
template I am replacing. This interrupts program execution.

How do I supress this dialog?

I have the same problem, with two templates one LetterTemplate and another
FaxTemplate!

After using the template and saving the letter a message box appears
asking:" Do you want to save the document template?" I have to answer no,
cause I do not want the template to be overwritten.

Need help from MVP
thanx

One solution I found. After careful review of the code, I discovered I left a
remnent in an auto Open routine that added a tooltip to a toolbar item. After
removing it, I was no longer asked to save the template each time.
