Is there a way to have a custom toolbar appear in one specific document no
matter where the file is opened?
I know I can assign a custom toolbar to open within any document I specify,
but if I e-mail that document to someone, although the toolbar goes with it,
it does not automatically appear up on the toolbar. I can open the customize
menu and select the custom toolbar from there, but I want the toolbar to
appear as soon as the document opens.
Is there a way to do this in Word 2003?
Thank you.

Save the toolbar in the document - however it seems likely that the toolbar
will call macros relating to the document, which creates a whole new bag of
worms, if you are thinking of saving the macros in the document.
You have no control over the users' macro security so you will not be able
to rely on the user having the macros in the document available. A better
plan would be to supply the user with a document template containing both
macros and toolbar - as presumably the presence of the toolbar suggests that
the user is expected to do something with the document. However then you
would have to ensure that the user installed the template in the correct
folder or we are back to square one.
Maybe you should take a look at
