Hi to all,

I've the following problem:

I've unfortunately deleted from my usb flash drive a doc. file
containing macros that I further need.

With a recovery program I've been able to undelete this file.

But the file has gone somehow corrupted, because I cannot open the
file anymore and with a text editor the macros are not viewable.

I just need to be able to see the macros again, can anyone give me a
useful tip?

You might be able to download a free Hex Editor from the internet to help
read the binary coded part of the .doc file as long as you didn't resave as
a text file, which probably would have stripped it of it's formatting and
macros.
Also a recurring tip on these forums is not to open a Word document from any
kind of removable media for editing, because of the way Word constantly
interacts with its open files. It is better to copy it to a hard drive and
open from and save it to the hard drive, then copy the closed file back to
the removable media.
