Thanks for the reply. I AM using the DocumentBeforeClose event trap. What I
need to do is intercept the X in the upper right hand corner of a document as
well as the Document/close (and probably the ALT F4) so that they do not
attempt to close the document forcing the user to make use of the ribbon menu
items to close and exit documents
