Is there any way to retrive the "Last ten authors" property of word document
using office 2007?

Hi Vaibhav

As far as I know there is no "last ten authors" property of a document.

Until Word 2000, Word stored the name of the last several (maybe it was 10,
I can't remember) authors who had worked on a document. The information was
stored in the binary, and was not exposed in the object model. The only way
you could see it was to open the binary .doc file in (eg) Notepad. It always
appeared near the very end of the file.

In Word 2002 and later versions this information is no longer stored in the
document file due to privacy concerns.

Hope this helps.
