Word 2003 Outline

In Word 2003 when using outline formatting, "tab" key moves curser to next
tab setting in stead of to next portion of outline.  HELP!

Tools | AutoCorrect, AutoFormat As You Type tab: "Set first and left indent
with tabs and backspaces."
