i'd like to do the following: { IF (bookmark1}="OTHER" "{FORMTEXT}"
"{FORMDROPDOWN}"}

i know the condition is being evaluated but in fill in mode the cursor skips
the location. do i have a syntax problem

I suspect that the problem is that the outer field, the IF field, cannot be
accessed by the insertion point in a protected document.

If you describe in detail what you are trying to accomplish, perhaps someone
will be able to suggest an alternative approach.
