To another computer. Trying duplicate settings from one pc to another.
Everything, except Word Options settings, are working fine when I copy
Normal.dotm.

Most settings that aren't stored in Normal.dotm are in various places in the
registry, mainly in the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Data (see
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/DataKeySettings.htm). There are also
some entries under the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options.
The entries in the Data key are huge binary strings that aren't human-readable.
Don't try to copy them from one computer to the other, as you can't be sure the
values will be compatible. Instead, use the method in the "How to preserve your
Settings preferences" section of the article to record the options dialogs as
macros, and play them back on the other computer. That will still leave a few
miscellaneous things, but that's most of it.

Many Word Options are stored in the Registry. If you are comfortable with
the registry you could copy them by exporting to a .reg file and copying it
across and then running it on the other side. Alternatively if you are on
Vista there is something called "Easy Transfer" which might work but I know
practically nothing of it - as I understand it this should provide
equivalent facility to the old Save My Settings Wizard in 2003, which has
been discontinued.

The method that Jay points to is far better than messing about my way.
