Office 2003. My security settings are set to low. I have never had a problem
with this before. Now all of a sudden I get this error message. I had office
re-installed last week and it seemed to have fixed the problem but now it is
doing it again. The macros I am trying to run are in addins stored in the
Word/Startup folder.

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks,
Peter

One more thing: The macros are all listed when you go to tools/macros but if
I open the VBE, it is blank - no projects - not even Normal.

You should set security to trust installed templates and add-ins and set
security to medium.
Are you sure that the macros are still present in the add-in? If they are
then see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm

I've already checked "trust installed templates and add-ins". I just removed
the add-ins from the startup folder and launched word. When I tried to launch
VBE (Alt+F11) I get insufficient memory - save file. When I click Ok, the VBE
opens but it is blank - no projects open; not even Normal.
