I want to be prompted everytime I save a document new or old for the
properties. I have tried saving my normal.dot and have the prompt for
properties checked but it is not working properly. Any suggestions?

Hi Martn,

You don't need a macro for this.

On the Tools menu, point to Options.
In the Options dialog box, click the Save tab.
In the Save options area of the Save tab, select the Prompt for document
properties check box.

HTH,
Dave
