I am using word 97.

when you set a multiline textbox on a user form and then transfer the
content to a formfield in a document you also see the next paragraph and
cariage return marks (two little squares) How do i get rid of these so the
the text entered into the formfiled is the same as that entered into the
textbox.

This doesnt happen if the text is entered to a bookmark rather than a
formfield.

Years ago some one kindly gave me the solution but i have lost it.

Cheers Fred

G'day "Fred Kruger" <fredie_kruger@hotmail.com>,

Heya Freddy, Word is a bit of nightmare on everyones street huh :-)
Not surprising to find YOU hanging around <chuckles>

Use a range object to do the insert. That range object will now be set
to the insert's range. Collapse to the end, move the start of the
range back two characters and delete the content in the range.
