Playing .wav files in macros

I hope I am not posting to the wrong Ng, if I did, sorry.
I would like to be able to play short wav files in Word97 or 2003
macros. Any one can help me get started? I am an absolute beginner in
writing word macros. Thanks.

I don't know if this helps, but here's a link to a Microsoft article that
describes how to play a .wav file using a VBA Macro.
