novice: printing name of document templates form word doc's

dear vba gurus,

i have to print the name of all documents templates of a great number of
word doc's found in a certain directory.
in a loop i'd like to open all doc's in a certain directory, read the
document.templates out of it and print it to a new doc.
is anybody out there, who has already done somthing like this.

Hi Tim,

The template property is one of the document's properties, and there is a
sample app for listing those which you can download from here.

hello jonathan,
thank you for your help. is there a way to find out, under which path the
template is stored. i found the template's name in the dsofile.dll, but
where can i find the path to the template ??
