Tracking System Shutdown, Restart or LOg Off

Hi there,
 I know that this is not the place where i should put this question, but
still I hope that I will get the answer from here. I want to track the system
events such as shutdown, logoff and restart and do some operations before
that. Is it possible in VB? If yes, how can it be done.
