how would i create a menu that drops down when u right-click a certain word
in a word document. just like in a spell and grammar check?

Actually I've seen this done with AutoText... have a look at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/AutoTextList.htm and let me know if it
does what you want.

See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfms/autotextlistcontent.htm. Not the
same functionality as the speller which self-selects entries, this require
that you set up your autotext in categories and then set up the field to
choose the category you want.
