Create a table that is 2 columns by 12 rows. Set the rows to exact height so
that the 1st, 3rd and 5th rows are high enough to accommodate the pictures.
set the 2nd, 4th and 6th so that they will be just high enough to contain
the captions. Then, insert the pictures in cells 1,1; 1,2; 3,1; 3,2; 5,1 and
5,2. Finally insert the caption in the other cells.
