It is possible to embed binary data into a word doc/dot?

For example, I would like to embed a blob of binary data in a word doc/dot,
then use vba to extract that blob at runtime.

I can think of a few really hacky ways to force this to happen, but I am
hoping that there is a supported way to do it...

Thanks,
BT

If you can convert it to a string, you can save it as a DocumentVariable.

Thanks Jezebel, but I cannot find "DocumentVariable" in the Word VBA
documentation.  Is this supposed to be a method, collection, etc. off of the
Document object?

Thanks!
