I have copied over the Normal file in the templates folder yet I cannot run
any macros in the latest version of Word for Mac.  I also have different
document formatting.  All documents previously formatted for WordX does not
have the correct document formats.

Give your old Normal a new name, and use the Organizer (Tools/Templates
and Addins.../Organizer) to transfer macros from that template to your
actual Normal template.

In Word04, the Normal template lives in the MUD folder (Microsoft User
Data) inside the Document folder, which is why your documents don't
reflect the old Normal.
