I am automating Word from Access and have bookmarks in a template in Word.
All works fine, but now I want to have bookmarks in the page header so I can
repeat stuff on each page.  I get an error when trying to put data into
bookmark of a header.  Can anyone help?

Use document properties and DocProperty fields instead.

Hi David,

or, as an alternative to Jezebel's suggestion,

learn about "storyranges". You probably are trying
to address a bookmark in the mainstory, which isn't there,
but in another storyrange, depending of the kind of header you've got.
