Does anyone know a way I can get Word to accept a (csv) file on a web-server
as the data source for a mailmerge.

e.g.

doc.MailMerge.OpenDataSource("http://mywebserver/data/mergedata.csv");

I'm trying to get my ASP.NET app to automate a merge client-side using
Javascript.

Cheers,
Mark

It's simply not possible. Mail Merge requires a data source saved to a
"classic" file path (not a URL).
