Hi all,

Is it the case that if I have an application object (Word), and I call
application.version

it will return me
11.0 for Word 2003
10.0 for Word 2002 aka Word XP
9.0   for Word 2000

It this correct? .. Please let me know

Thanks,

I don't seem to have a 2000 word program on my HPXL and I installed a 2006
Word program that keeps telling me that I must insert 2000 Word CD for the
particular action to work.  What is wrong?  Trouble

There is no Word 2006, at least not a genuine version.

Can you start Word?  If so, if you select About Microsoft Word from the Help
menu, what does it say the version is?

What's the "particular action" to which you refer?
