start Outlook 2002 via Word 2002 macro

Hallo!

I would like to check in a Word 2002 macro wether Outlook 2002 is running
and if not to start it.
I've tried a lot of code I've found via internet but nothing worked
correctly.
Has somebody any hint for me?

contains the necessary construction.
