I have a template document that was once a protected document. I unprotected
it and saved it as a template (.dot).
No, in automation I open the document and populate various bookmarks from MS
Access.
On this particular document when opened from automation it is protected and
will not allow me to populate the bookmarks. I receive error 4605 -- This
method or property is not available because the object refers to a protected
area of the document.
Why would an unprotected template create a protected document? How do I
disable this "feature"?
Find the protected section and unprotect it.

Thanks Jezebel,
I am not finding any protected sections of the template.
On Error I have the Word document open so I can see which bookmark has the
focus. The same bookmark in the template is no protected.
How can I find the protection that is turned on and disable it?
