Is there a way to link a sharepoint site to an access
database?  I have tried creating a page via frontpage and
the add database tool is not available, I also tried to
create a new website using the database wizard and attach
the file to the current web but that didn,t work.

Any isead on how to add a access database to a sharepoint
site appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately when you mention sharepoint you'll need
to specify which member of that Sharepoint product family
you're using to host the site as well as the Word
version you're using if you're creating library content
through Word. The Sharepoint Services site are based
in SQL server databases.

For Office XP/2002 - Sharepoint Team Services -
 news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.sharepoint.teamsservices

For Windows 2003 / Office 2003 - Windows Sharepoint Services
 news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices

For Office Sharepoint Portal Server:
 news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver

You might also want to include information on the
result you're trying to achieve there and how various
site members would utilize the database.
