I am using office 97. sr1 +sr2 have been installed.   I am
having trouble installing the optional web authoring tools.

I have done several complete reinstalls, selecting all,
which includes the web authoring tools.   However it never
gets installed.

I did have it installed somehow on my old computer.  When
I try to install it on the new one, it does not appear. I
don't know what I am doing wrong.

I am still using w98 which is what I was using on the old
computer.
Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

From the Office 97 downloads at http://office.microsoft.com for Word 97 download the updated web authoring tools and see if that
helps.  If not, are you getting any error messages?  Sometimes there's a glitch in the registry that needs to get cleared up.
