Hyperlink to open a new word document based on a Word Template.

I want to create a Hyperlink to open a new word document
based on a Word Template.

I can do this from a Command prompt but I have not been
able to do this from a hyperlink.

Can anyone offer any suggestions.

Hi Nigel,

If the hyperlink is to a .LNK shortcut file that leads to the template it will work.  The steps in this article should help for Word
versions 97 or higher:
