Hi Jeff,
You didn't mention the version of Word you're using
but generally in Word 2002 or 2003 if you use
File=>Save as Web Page,Filtered you'll probably not
see the same result. In using 'regular' File=>Save as Web Page
Word retains a graphic of the original dimensions and file type
of the one inserted in the document and can create a web (GIF/JPEG/PNG)
version or the resized one for your web page.
In 'regular' Word retains everything it needs to be able to
turn your .htm file back into a complete .DOC file when reopened
in Word.

I have used Word to create my html documents for my web
site and when I attach a piture it saves the picture
TWICE. Can someone explain why this is happening???
Thank You>>

Hi Jeff,
What version of Word are you using?
Are you using the File=>Save as Web Page-Filtered
file type rather than File=>Save as Web Page?
What graphics type are you inserting and how are you inserting
it into the Word file?
