Hello,

I am not a power user of office. However, I would like to
create an HTML email that includes tables and pictures
and was wondering how best to do this. Can anyone
recommend a "how to" or good online guidline for doing
this. The simpler the better! In particular, how exactly
do I embed the pictures without them being treated as
downloadable files?

Thanks,

Simon

Hi Simon,

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say
that you don't want the pictures to be downloadable.
Basically, in an HTML formatted email you'll have
either (a) links to graphics located online and the
person reading the email would need to be online to
see the graphics or (b) the graphics will be emailed
along with the text (basically as attachments, even though
they may not be 'listed' as attachments).

What version of Word are you using?  Who are you targetting
the email towards?

Hi Simon,

I just created an e-letter using tables in Word.  After
you create the tables, if you just insert a photo into the
cell that you want that should do it.  It should not show
up as a downloadable file.  I hope this works.
