I tried using insert date, but it only insert today's date.
Next time when the document is opened, the data is still same and does not
update to the date when the document is opened and viewed.

Here's the Current Date componet from FrontPage.
I haven't a clue if it will work in a Word HTML web page or not.
1) Open html page with NotePad
2) Open a second NotePad and copy the following html into that Notepad
3) Date html:
<p>; This site was last updated on <!--webbot bot="Timestamp"
S-Type="EDITED" S-Format="%m/%d/%y" -->
</p>
4) Copy from second NotePad to first Notepad (with html page open)
5) Save html page
6) upload and test

You previously received a reply from Bob Buckland (MVP) regarding a Word
option.
That did not suit your needs and I provided an alternative option.
If you'd rather continue seeking an implementation of something that
apparently does NOT exist in Word created web pages, by all means continue
exploration.
Or?
Create your Word web page and edit the html with what I previously supplied
with NotePad.

OK, understood. Thank you.
I will switch to WordPerfect to replace Microsoft Words.

Hi Agy,
In Word, for a .DOC file, when you use Insert=>Date check
the box for "Update Automatically" in that dialog before
you insert the date.

I tried using insert date, but it only insert today's date.

I think Words only insert the date, when the box is checked [x] update
automatically.
But when this Words is opened by the receiptents in later dates, it does not
updated itself.

Hi Agy,
It's not clear what your goal is in this case.
The way Word updates .DOC file dates is by using
a 'field' (Insert=>Field). Each user has the option
to have those fields updated or not when a document
is opened. If the user chooses to turn off the update
option the date will not automatically update
(Tools=>Options=>General)
If you're sending HTML email in Word the Word HTML
file retains the date field in case it's reopened in
Word, but it will be seen as plain text in other
email clients software.

I am looking for a Words document with today's
date when opened. Readers will be able to print the document with the
date it was printed.

Hi Agy,
Then using Insert=>Date & Time or Insert=>Field and choosing
the date field will work, but not if the person receiving
the document has turned off the option to update fields
either on file open or on print in Tools=>Options
