Word 2000 cannot Web Page Preview

I uninstalled and reinstalled Works Suite, Office 97, Office 2000 Small
Business and now
Word will not perform Web Page Preview. It was working fine until I
messed with it. I also added all the upgrades for Office 2000, IE v6 and
OE v6.
What did I miss? HELP!

Hi Paul,

If you've run a repair/reinstall of Office 2000
already what happens when you try to use the
File=>Web Page Preview function?

Is it on all files or just one file?

Dear Bob,

Even though I've done it twice before, I did another Repair>Reinstall on
Office 2000 Small Business, both Disk 1 and Disk 2. Publisher 2000 will
execute the Web Page Preview, but Word 2000 will not. The screen simply
flickers and there I sit. I have made every attempt to set IE as the
default browser, and Word as the default HTML editor, but there must be
something I've missed. Is the problem possibly in the Registry Privileges?
As I said before, the original installation caused no problems, and I was
able to construct and preview my website. Now, it's ceased functioning.
