Hi,
When you open a Word document from a Web site and then make changes to the
document, you cannot resave it to the Web site, and you may experience the
following behavior:
. The Save command on the File menu is unavailable (dimmed).
. When you click Save As on the File menu, you are prompted to save
the file on your local computer
Thanks

AFAIK, Word does not have the capability to either "publish" (as FrontPage
does) nor is Word capable of being a web server.
If the page your attempting to edit is either your own website or a website
that you have authorized administartional access to, than upload the page
either using FTP or through the websites Control Panel access.

Hi Joe,
If your ISP's feature set includes
MS FrontPage Server extensions
MS Office Sharepoint Team Services
MS Windows Sharepoint Services
for you and you have the rights to edit/update
the site then you can save to a web server
in HTML format.
What version of Word are you using?
