Can I recover a Word XP document after saving it as a web
page?

Hi Carolyn,

If you have used File=>Save As Web Page in Word 2002
you can open the file and use File=>Save As and choose
Word document and the original content should be available.

If you used File=>Save As WebPage-Filtered, then not
all of the original content will have been kept for the
web page.

Dear Bob:
Thanks for trying to help me out.

I have read the help section over and over on Creating a
Web Page in Word XP. It evidentially does not help me as I
have now lost my Word XP document. I have repeatedly done
as you suggested:

>If you have used File=>Save As Web Page in Word 2002
>you can open the file and use File=>Save As and choose
>Word document and the original content should be
>available.

However, it does not return my Word XP document. Where
have I gone wrong?

Are there any help sites or tutorials on Microsoft, beyond
what is on my computer, that I can study that would help
me understand how to create web pages?

Carolyn
