Hi Gav,
You can eliminate the secondary folder but that will drop the rest of the files related to the Word web page being saved into the
same folder as the .htm file
Tools=>Options=>General=>Web Options
If you want to use pictures already on your website then when you use Insert=>Picture from File paste or type in the URL of those
graphics and choose the 'Link only' choice on the Insert button in that dialog.
If you resize a picture after inserting it Word will retain the original (for reopening in Word as a document) and create one for
the webpage use in the new size and in a web suitable graphic format.
You may want to try using File=>Save as Web Page-Filtered after saving as a .doc file so you'll be able to do further edits. The
Filtered choice removes some of the 'reuse in Word' content.

Hi,
I have my main index page which includes various pics, but when I save the
file as a web page it creates a whole new folder which includes a bunch of
files for eg. index_filelist, index_image0001, index_image0002 etc etc.
It does this for every page I have images on. When I click save I only want
to save the main index page and use the pic files which I already have, not
create a whole new folder with duplicate pics in.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Bob.
How do I link clip art text to the doc as when I try to save it as a pic
then insert link that way it loses loads of resolution / quality.
Thanks in advance
