Hello,

I am creating a website for the first time. It is for a graduate
course, and will not actually be "uploaded" to the world wide web.
Do any of you have any advice as to which software I should use? I have

the choice of either Publisher 2003 or Word .. I am looking for ease of

use, but also want the site to be decent, as I will be graded on it.

Thanks for any help!

ps I noticed that there is no longer a wizard for creating web pages in

word .. is there one for Publisher 2003?

If the choice is between Publisher and Word and you're just looking for quick and easy the Publisher could be a better choice for a
beginner.  There is a newsgroup just for that area of MS Publisher available through the links below. Publisher still has a 'wizard'
(prepackaged) solution included in the 2003 edition.

As was mentioned in another group where you posted this question <g> it can depend on what your needs are.  Is this a personal, one
time webpage, or are you looking to create something bigger and with broader scope.  If mot just a casual one then you may want to
consider how much time and money you want to invest in tackling this task personally.  There are free, low priced and high priced
web authoring tools available, each with its own learning curve.  A number of popular web portals, such as Yahoo that allow you to
have personal websites also include their own 'point and click' web page creators of their own to use as a starting point.
