Hi Stefan,
Do you have a copy of MS Works Suite on this PC?
If so, Word may be listed as a separate entry
in Add/Remove programs and would be looking for
the Suite CD. You can uninstall the separate copy
of MS Word from Add/Remove Programs, restart the PC
then change the feature listing in MS Office XP
to run that copy of MS Word (back up your files before
doing any uninstall or install).

pages, doesnt appear to be on the officexp professional
