When Word generates the web site it will create it's own "copies" of any
images you inserted and it will use these image files rather than your
originals.
That setting is to tell Word what DPI you want it to use when creating the
image files.
The first two are the most common for web graphics.

Can you tell me the difference between the settings? When/why would I
select 72 dpi? 96? 120?
