I'm using Word 2002 under Windows 2000.
Is it possible to create distinct pages (one page per screen) ? I have
long, run-on pages that you have to scroll through. Is there a way to make
my main document use pagination with viewed in IE?
I'm new to this website creation dodge and don't want to waste my time on
something that will not be achievable.
Thanks.
Hi Judith,
While there are methods for separating a Word document
into individual web pages resembling the breaks you'd
see for printing the Word document as separate pages,
generally a web browser is designed to scroll documents
and a single Word document would, by default, be
a single Word page. You can use View=>Web Layout
or File=>Web Page Preview to see what you'd have
as far as '1 page'.
It's difficult to create a 'screen size' page as
your settings on your PC may show more, or less
on a single screen than would those of a person
viewing your web page based on their screen size
setting, their browser version and whether they
had their browser open full screen or in a reduced
size box.
