Hi,
When I cut'n paste text from another source (web, notepad, FrontPage,...) I
would like the pasted text to always be Times New Roman; however, it often
comes a Courier New.
Also when I cut'n paste an image from Image Composer or just the Web, and
then start typing right after the image, it is Courier New.
How can I set up word to always paste TNR 10 pt without having to do a
special paste or having to reformat the text myself after each post?
Word 2003
Windows XP

If you do a Paste > Special > Unformatted text then you should get the
format of the destination paragraph. I see you have constrained this as
not acceptable and I wonder why? If you do a regular paste from an app
that has some formatting, Word assumes you liked the formatting of
the source and want to keep it.

Hi Jeff,
If clicking on Edit | Paste | Paste Special is what's holding you back,
why not just add Paste Special to your right-click menu. That makes it
a lot easier to accomplish what you want. I think you can even put a
button on your toolbar to accomplish the same thing, but I prefer the
right-click method myself.

Thanks Carol - that's a nice solution - it works well.
I appreciate both of you responding.
