I'm new to this forum, but I am so happy I found it. I'm having a
charting problem in Excel that has been driving me nuts! I'm creating a
chart based on weekly data. So I have a chart that is broken down by
week as follows 09/07/03, 09/14/03, 09/21/03, 09/28/03.  But this week

I want to place a transparent box behind the bars of a bar
chart to denote a highlighted section of a timespan. I can
get the transparent autoshape in the chart but I can't get
it to move behind the bars. Can anybody help?

I set up a chart that graphs changes in quantity over time.
It's source data comes from multiple different places in my
spreadsheet, so, to make it easy to graph, I use formulas to set it
out nicely.. namely, two rows, the top with date and the bottom with

How do I define a chart to be a two axis stackbar-line
chart.  I can find in "Custom types" a bar-line chart, but
the stackbar on one axis with a line chart on a second
axis eludes me.  Is there a way to custom type this?
