OK here's the problem.
I have a multipage Excel spreadsheet with a consolidation
chart page at the end.  The chart page grabs data from
individual store pages and displays sales data using a

I'm trying to make a chart from a pivot table, but only
from certain colunms within that table. Therefore I made a
second table next to it that just equals the pivottable.
From that second table, I made the charts I wanted. If I

Is there a way to name a chart so the name will stay with the chart
regardless if the location is changed?
I can name a chart while its location is on a regular worksheet;
however, if I move its location to a new sheet, the name goes away.

I am currently trying to plot the date versus sunset times. (ie, 1/1 on the
x-axis would correlate to a sunset time of 5:26 on the y-axis). Excel
doesn't recognized this. Anyone have a suggestion on how I can plot this?

I ran into this problem I do not seem to be able to solve.
I work on an app that exports data to Excel. All data has dates (or hours
within a date) as the X-axis. Some of the Y-axis data is numerical (no
problem at all), some is completely "time" (Like: hours worked at a certain

I have 14 charts spread across three (printing) pages. They all share the
same format;
Green line (no symbols) = Target
Blue columns = Monthly Actual

Mid doesn't allow stringing each of the 2 char fields
together as an answer.
cell A1 has 03/17/04 and would like A2 to have 031704.
