I often have tables in Excel that I use the Chart Wizard to graph in a few clicks. However, if the first column contains numeric values it is treated as a series by the wizard rather than as a data range. Eg. lets say I'm examining the quantities of a certain product in orders ...

I have a table of individual days of the year, value "A" and cummulativ
value of A.
I would like to plot the cummulative data as a line chart, and on th
same graph show the monthly sum of A for each month.

I know there must be an easy way to do this... I need to
use an image of a thermometer, where the red bar in the
thermometer replaces the typical bar in the bar chart.

from UN web site. So i download the exel tables from their website adn
then copied the neccesary coloms from one excel to another and now i
am tring to draw a scatter plot, but it will not let or another words

I have several sites that all have the same data (Date & # visits) right now
I graph each site separately so I can see how many people use our resources,
is it possible to overlay all of these sites on one graph? I can do this
using an old projector but not with my new multi media ...

Is there a way to suppress a series in the chart legend if
the series at a particular time equals zero?

I have a simple chart which measures the average time per month for a vacant position to be filled. I would like to add a horizontal line (as a constant) to use as a benchmark for use with service level agreements.

I am plotting a chart that shows the distance on the x
axis and the altitude on the y axis. I want the x axis to
be the scale but this is complicated because I have the
name places also on the x axis and Excel is just assuming
