How does one calulate ratios in Excel?
I want to calculate as follows:
If A>B then A:B=C eg. 2:1 = 2

I hardly dare ask this as it seems so easy; but I can't do
it.
If I plot a straight line graph such as y=2x-2, with X
values ranging say -2 to +2. How do I get to show -ve

I have a chart with a moving average trendline. There are too may dat
entries and the chart is unreadable. I would like the chart to onl
display the last x entries (automatically) but still have the movin
average trendline applied to all the data.

Does anyone know how to move the the top of the chart to
the bottom and the bottom to the top.

Under Tools/Options/Chart Menu I have set the "Plot empty
cells as: Not plotted (leave gaps)as well as Plot visible
cells only, however the chart still plots null values
causing the automatic scaling to be impractical

how can i specify a values for (x) axis in bar chart in
Excel ?? My (y) axis is percent and i need to change the
width of bar on (x) axis, but it seems that i can just
change the category of it.

I create charts using a workbook with templates and change the reports using
dynamic data ranges. One worksheet can hold several graphs. I then copy the
charts to another workbook for distribution. I extinguish the data series

I am trying to make a scatter chart and have a line
connecting the points.  Whether I choose the chart that
says connected by smooth lines or just lines, no lines
show up.  I'm using Excel 2000.

I have a title on my chart and I would like it to
automatically change a number that comes from a worksheet
when new data is added.  Is this possible?  For example
